DESCRIPTION:
Seth Thomas Clock Co., Thomaston, Conn., "Regulator No. 2" weight driven 8 day timepiece in a mahogany veneered case, c1874.
CONDITION:
The case retains some original finish. There is very minor veneer damage on the base. The original painted dial is in good condition with some limited surface issues. The hands are original. The pendulum bob and rod are original and in good condition. The weight baffle panel has an excellent Seth Thomas label. The beat indicator label is in good condition. The tablet appears original and rebacked with black paint. Ht 34". Overall, an excellent example of an early No. 2.
